New RC4

I received my tan RC4 from knivesshipfree.com yesterday. I must say its a great feeling knife. Its definitely going to fill its role as a hunting/utility/survival if needed- knife. The real test will be given this fall during NY's deer season, I will do a full review then.

P.S. I think I am going to purchase a sharpshooter leather sheath. The supplied kydex is a very versatile sheath, but I just love the look and feel of leather.

Kydex can damage your knife a little or give it some scratches, if you want to keep your knife clean than it's maybe better to use leather. But when you go hunting it is maybe better to use kydex cause that can resist water and stuff like that better I guess.
But if you think that leather looks better than I would definitely go for the leather. Two sheaths are better than one anyway, you can use the kydex when you go outside.

Good luck during the New York deer season, I wish I could do hunting like you Americans can. I once saw the NY woods were some men were hunting. That looked awesome, very beautiful, never thought you had such a nice forest there in NY.

Upstate NY has some amazingly beautiful woods. In fact we have more state land than any other state. We just get a bad rap from that big city south of here.
