I have to agree with Gene. That is one sweet S&M gunstock and I'm not even a big fan of flat bolsters. They fit perfectly on that knife though. I'd say you did pretty good so far and am looking forward to the rest of the pics.

Yellow and orange!!! I like the GEC #73 with the flat bolsters. Slim knife with a good feel in the hand.

Nice purchases (All 3). I'll admit the S&M Gunstock's my favorite of the 3.

i like that orange one, now you need a knife to match the same color of your car and you are set!

Congrats on your inheritance money! New cars and slipjoints should keep a smile on your face for some time to come. :)
Next purchase: A bright yellow sodbuster to ride in your cupholder of your new car.

Hi Knife Crazied -

Congrats on the new car, and welcome to the yellow club (I drive a yellow Colorado truck).

One thing I have noticed is that people don't pull out in front of you - the yellow gets noticed!

best regards -

Ash, those are some good looking knives, I like the Gunstock to. I've been thinking about getting one, let me know how you like if you get a chance. I like the car as well, that's that Moutaineer Yellow, I'm a Duke fan, I couldn't find a good looking Duke Blue truck so I got a Duke White truck!! lol. Thanks for sharing.

Those are some really sharp (pun intended) looking knives Ashley. Thay'll serve you well. All are great carrying knives. That 340T is really cool.

Thanks for letting us have a look at the knives:thumbup:

I've got serial No.3 of the Burnt Orange Northfield, just one number apart:D
It's an excellent knife, slim yet robust , the orange colour is a nice autumn shade too. I don't believe this will be your last GEC knife either! Enjoy yourself.

Score X3! The Great Eastern and the Schatt & Morgan look like they have matching front bolsters. That gunstock is a very nice one. I like them all.

Nice trio!
Enjoy!

How slim is the #73?

Neeman,

The flat bolster is the slim 73, about 60mm but I don't have calipers just an old ruler and weak eyesight:eek: The No.73 BeaverTail feels a lot thicker. The flat bolster has scales slanted/flared away from the liners making the handle slimmer. Great knife those Burnt Oranges, well worth getting.
