Hello All,
I'm new to this forum, but have read with great interest all the posts on different Spyderco folders.
On friday, I went to the local camping/cutlery store and was abit disappointed not to find any Military's or Starmates. But I discovered the Endura98 and decided that would be my first Spyderco. Fully serrated w/lightweight black handle. Perfect for everyday carry!

Today, I went with my wife shopping in a different mall and came across another shop. This time I saw the Military (3/4 serrated) in person. It took all of 2 seconds to decide that I would add another Spyderco to my collection, just two days after getting my first one. It was about double the price of the Endura, but after holding it in my hand for a while, it felt so good I just couldnt let it go. Anyway, just wanted to let you know what a great weekend this turned out to be.

Thanks to all for the informative posts that helped me make my decisions.

Wow, two knives in one weekend. I'd consider that pretty good. Welcome to the forum!

There is another kind of Spydie bite! Just ask those who have become careless with a Spyderco Civilian. It can get bloody, from what I've seen.

Welcome to the forums!! Be careful or you'll end up like the rest of us. Waiting on the new Spyderco's to come out is painful. But soon I'll have a Bob Lum Chinese Spyderco.

ThaiTik, I hope you have a good job and an understanding wife. Sounds like you have the fever. I caught it about a month ago and now have 4 Spydies, 1 on the way(Military), and thinking about another(Wegner).

Always glad to see someone catch the spyder bug. I hope you see as much use from yours as I have from mine.
Dave.

You are where you should be.
You are doing what you should be doing.
Otherwise, you would be somewhere else,
Doing something else.

Hello
Thanks for all your kind replies. Yes, Im afraid I have been bitten by the bug :-)

In fact, I have my eyes on another, the DelicaII (stainless steel handle, fully serrated). Lovely compact folder. Fortunately, its abit cheaper than the others.
All the best, ThaiTik

This Spyder bite is terminal. Once bitten, the only temporary remedy is to buy another Spyderco product.
If your lucky, the need for another fix will be evenly spaced so as not to cause alarm to your significant other or your wallet.

Welcome to the Forums ThaiTik!
