Anyone know what new models will be out in the near future & what ones will be retired?

Harpy w/Carbon Fiber scales
Military w/Carbon Fiber scales
Dialex Adventura
Ocelot
Delica 4 w/ZDP-189 blade steel
Delica 4 w/VG-10
Endura 4
Szabofly (but don't hold your breath)


I'd rather not think about what's on the cutting block -- could be the Dodo for one.

No. It's being kept under pretty close wraps.

There is a possibility that it will also be "waved"

A wave on the pikal seems like a good idea, since it's a reverse grip knife and I don't imagine it's easy to do a smooth opening into the correct position.
 
I support the idea of a waved "Pickle" because I still haven't mastered the inertia opening. I'm just a klutz. I assumed from the beginning that the Pickle would be waved, only to find otherwise. Now, the chances of a waved version give me hope.

Is it actually going to be called the Pickle then? That would be cool. I thought that was just a pronunciation aid.
 
I think that myself and others use the nickname "Pickle" in lieu of its official designation, which, if decided, is still a mystery.
 
Looks like a nice blade,anxious to see one in person.
The schempp Kris supposed to be out in January.
The pikal maybe in June of '06.
Will keep you advised of new info.

Aloha All,

I cannot wait for more of Ed's designs to come out, especially that Mini Persian. Southnarc's design got me very curious...

However, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Spyderco/DiAlex Adventura! :thumbup: I hope the production models follow closely after the Spyderco 05 Forum ones! ;)

My design should be coming out in 06 hopefully. :o
