New to forum..with new purchases

Hi to all,

I'm a new forum member who has just purchased my first two Microtech knives, a Socom Elite and a LCC. I have "lurked" reading various reviews for a while, figured it was time to "meet" everyone! I have certainly learned alot and hope to be able to contribute to future discussions.

You got yourself a couple of very nice knives, but you realize that this is just the beginning don't you?
 
Welcome! Sit back, relax and have fun. This place is a great place to whittle away some time and learn a few things to boot.

BTW, nice first knives. I have a LCC and a SOCOM Elite auto. Both are superb tools.
 
Bingo! You may have just scored the two best production knives out there, at least IMHO. If you decide to use'em, let us know what you think of them. And welcome!

Don't let anybody talk you out of your SOCOM...:D

It usually only takes about 3-4 months until your collection will grow exponentially by a factor of 10!

Welcome James. It is a lot of fun around here, unfortunately like some of the guys have pointed out - its all down hill now! :) Its crazy how fast your knife collection grows - it seems the larger the collection the less control you have! Have fun

Thanks for the warm welcome! I agree with you all about the Socom and LCC..I love 'em! I've actually had somewhat of a windfall of late( today actually!) with regard to knives. The Mrs. and I just bought a house and my friends (super guys & gals)actually bought me some folders for house-warming gifts!! I managed to get:

Benchmade Styker
Two CRKT M-18's ( large and small)
Kershaw Whirlwind
CRKT Crawford/Kasper (Large)
Kershaw Vapor II
Beretta air light

Not a bad start! (now I've just gotta get her to buy into the 1/3 of the income deal!)
