Just found this. Recognize many from the BM forum. Some interesting stuff here. Long time bali swinger. Part time knife dealer.

Part-time dealer eh got some good deals on the balis' - welcome to our humble abode.

Welcome to the forums, navajo. I'm Blackjack, a newbie for the most part, but I can't seem to put my BM-42 down... :D

Welcome. I'm very much a newbie... So much so I can name every place I've cut myself! Once on my right index finger (vertical basic, wrong handle), once on the knuckle of my right index finger (was playing around with it in a half-open position), thumbtip, during a backhand windmill; and the latch took a piece of my chest, once, and has made 27 nicks on my wrists (glad that thing's gone, now). And, I accidentaly poked myself in the butt, once, cuz I was being an idiot.

Well, that was completely, utterly, totally pointless, so I'll reiterate: Welcome!

Poked yourself in the butt!?

I think its time you buy a trainer...

The only cuts I can count are the ones that left scars (6)

Hope you enjoy the Bali-Forum.., and the others as well!!

well, at least none of you have ever gotten an 5 inc blade straight through your plam while trying to do a motion thripple throw, and the blade landed a "little bit" too soon...

neither have i, though, but that's not really the point, is it? ;) (actually, the blade just made a 7mm rip in my plam - nothing to worry about. ;))

Welcome Navajo! Good to have an experienced flipper join us. So how does it feel to have your first thread spawn conversation about butt-stabbing? :D Bet you didn't see that coming.

Hope to see many posts from you. :) Keep flippin'

Humph.;):p

And it's not like I mentioned the time I... nevermind. :D

Yah, I think a trainer would be a good idea... yah.

Hi,
just wanted to say I'm new here too. (thanx Clay, for mailing me this site). I also wanted to ask if there are other female balisongfreaks in here, because up til now I've only met male ones.

Welcome Navajo and Aagje, glad you both found us.

You two have plenty of catching up to do, so get to reading some of the older posts, and stick around......... the more the merrier.

zxas, if you lived within 100 miles of San Antonio I could get you a really good deal on quite a few balis. My main goal in life right now is to get BM to start producing steel handeled balis again. The ti handels are ok but just too light. I know a lot of folks love them. No problem. I want a choice. Right now I have 57 request for steel handels. Going to have to go with the Monarch when they get the bugs worked out. Don't have a Tachyon yet. After I get a hold of one, I'll see how they flip.
Cuts: I have many. Cut right index finger to the bone because I paid no attention to which handle I grabbed. Tossing the 42 two nights ago, cut the same finger a pretty good slice. But I've only had the 42 for a few months and will probably add a few more scars with it.
Thanks for all the welcome salutations.
By the way zxas, I have a friend that used to work at the Cookers next to Vanderbilt. Her name is Pagan. If you ever go there you might inquire if she is still there.

Welcome to the both or you.:) I'm pretty much a newbie also. The more the merrier. aagje, if i'm not mistaken there are female balifreaks here. The legendary Sniperboy would be one. Very knowledgeable. hope this helps. later
