Well I got my new knife today, first thing was to shave some hair.
(The knife is really sharp.)

I compared the knife to my 780 Frosts Mora side by side.

Then the spine, which appeared to be at least two times thicker.

Then I compared it to my spydercos, as you can see it's about the same size as the endura (1st generation) the other two are delicas (1st and 4th generation).

I then had to cut some carrots, the knife was a pleasure to use.

I then re-tested the shaving ability. (The knife still really sharp.)

One of the first reviews said that they had a hard time sparking a fire steel so.

I had no problem starting a fire with a BSA hot spark. (BSA Hot spark is to skinny to fit in the fire steel loop.)

The fit and finish of the knife is good, I love the way the knife fits in the leather sheath.

My only wish is that the hunting area was open so I can de-bone a few animals to really test out the blade. But due to storm damage from a December storm, the Hunting area will be closed for at least another month.

BTW that was the fastest shipment I've ever had from the US postal service to Hawaii, it usually takes a week or two.

Thank You Mike

Nice review and photos.

I was the one that had issues with the firesteel. However, mine was the proto, not the production run and the spine had been deburred. I am glad yours worked good because that means the ones I have on order will too :)

Very cool! What handle thickness did you get?

I noticed you used char cloth in conjunction with your firesteel!! I think a lot of people that have trouble starting fires with firesteels skip this step. ;)

I got mine today. The Bushcraft is perfect Daniel! Thank you very much. You provided such good service and communication throughout this offering I would have been very satisfied with half the knife that arrived. GREAT JOB all around

Checked the post office tonight, no joy. Also waiting on my NWA.

Perhaps tomorrow (for the Bushcraft).
