New version of Chinook II !

For 2006 the C63 Chinook II will be flat ground & only come in Plain edge!
Your opinions please.
I like that ,but i just got a hollow ground ce version.
I guess i'll have to start saving! LOL .

I'd be a lot more exicted if you'd said the Persian was switching to full flat grind.

Just sold off my Chinook II. Rugged, well built knife, but just a tad too large for me. In addition it always felt like the thumb hole placement was "off" for my rather short thumb. The Manix, while still a bit bigger than I like my EDCs, fits me considerably better, and the opening motion is perfect for me.
 
Just did a buy it now on ebay...something I should have done long ago!
Damn sorry to hear about it being disco'd

Rick,

I don't know what your source is, but could you keep 2006 lineup information to yourself until Joyce releases it to the public? Otherwise I will begin deleting your posts.
 
I love my hollow-ground Chinook II.
I think of it as the best knife I have ever owned or carried.
I can't imagine improving it.
What appeal does the flat-grind on a Chinook II have, other than as a variation for collectors?
Please read that as a sincere question asked for the purposes of a better understanding.
