Hello,
I have been lurking in the background for a short while, and decided to intro myself and join your forum. I am a part maker with a full time day job. I have been involved with knife making for approx 3 years, having started under the direction of M.S. Wally Hayes out of Canada. I have a busy schedule ahead with family, work and knife making activities.
I will be attending several events in the near term, first the Baston Blade Symposium next week in Alabama. I also have a table at the June 2001 Blade show, and also have a slot at the South Eastern Show in Sept, in North Carolina! Please, if any of you are at any of these events, feel free to stop by, and intro yourself. Would love the opportunity to meet one of my fellow forum members.
If you are interested, you can see some pic's of my work at www.dempseyknives.com. The site is still under construction, and will be updated, as time permits. I would rather be out making knives, than editing html code.
One last note, page 51 of the June Blade mag, has a pic of one of my knives! It is a tac / utility piece created for an outdoor adventure / cross country competative racer.
Thank you to each that have contributed to this forum in the past, and I hope to add value to your forum in the future.
David
