My two new (to me) knives, A Remington Exploration and Case Jack. The Remington is a largisg knife, an equal end moose. At 4 1/2 inches closed this will spend it's time in the belt pouch rather than in my pocket. This was one in a series of 4 knives made for Remington in the US, this one being from 2006 in honor of the East. Very nicely colored jigged bone scales and 440C blades...this is a handsome knife and at 25 bucks a nice buy. Now I want the other three in the series tho...lol.

The other knife I came across is this Case swell end jack (6235 1/2). This one came to me wrapped in the original oilskin paper and looks absolutely new but it is a one dot from 1979. Delrin scales and CV steel make this a very nice working knife that will take that lovely razor edge. onr of my favorite patterns.

Congrats on the new knives. I've eyeballed some of the Rem's for a few years now but have never picked one up.

I really like the Case pattern. Another that I've never owned, but I have a couple I'm keeping my eye on. :D Does that pattern have half stops ?

The Case does have very positive half stops...this knife I don't think was ever carried and lived in the wrap...it is just super minty. The 35 pattern is a bit smaller than the 99. both are swell end jacks but the 99 is 3/4 inch longer as you can see...

I think that compass shield is very classy. I would love to see it on some current stock.

That Remington is fantastic, I have never seen that shield before.
