Newsletter Volume Four

Nice newsletter, Craig. Thanks for the new info. However, I didn't see a mention of Chainpures, and I thought that on some thread a while back you had mentioned that you were going to start offering them. Did I just make that up or are you considering expanding the GH line to include Chainpures?

I was going to offer chianpures, but frankly, I don't much like them.

That is, until I laid eyes and hands on the chianpure/AK that Mike L now owns. It won my heart and mind for sure.

I think that I'll be receiving that model on my next order. It had that special something.

The reason I initially chose to pass on the chinapure was that besides a closed cho, it seemed to me to be just another sirupati styled blade. And usually, unless a blade either offers a new functionality or is visually different, I pass in order to streamline the inventory and keep retail costs affordable.

But, the new chianpure/AK came through on both accounts (visually different and fuctionally different) and so it's a go in my book.

Craig, my thinking mirrors yours. I was not interested in a Chainpure for the very reasons you listed, but then I saw the picture of the one that Mike L got and I was smitten. You can put me down for it if and when you get another khuk like Mike's.

You're right, Craig. Maybe we can trick fate -- I won't order a Chainpure, but if a nice one comes in, let me know.
