Hi all,
sometimes need to embrace again Mother Nature, Sister Water and Brother Fire...

life it's humble here, and nice...

this spider maybe know that it's using a physical property named "surface tension"? Maybe yes, maybe not, anyway is still living so well...

on the walking...

see the small trout?...

who care about Seychelles...

crossing river more an more, freeeeeezing waters...

time to eat...

today we had two fellows on the rucksack Fox Golok Hitam and C. Reeve Umnumzaan...

chopping with the Golok Hitam to camp fire, this wood it's hard, wet outside but well dry inside...

a few batoning...

using homemade firestarter to light fire...

god job, Golok: no problem at all, as usual

now Umnumzaan, around we had a board 4 centimeters thick, I'm wondering about the knife performance...

not too bad at all...

it's time to go...

ciao!
Alfredo

Nice, How is the edge holding on the golok? I was thinking about getting one...

Not like INFI, but good enough, it's also easy to resharpen....
but please, hold a few time and you may get the small Parang that I designed for Fox Knives Military Division!! ;)

Great pics and yes that certainly is a very nice looking place. Knives and the great outdoors oh yeah! Thanks for sharing.

Thansk a lot guys.

@A.L. I plan to come in Finland this summer, do you guess I'm in problem with laws carrying on the woods these knives?

Nah, you can carry any kind of knives in woods. And it is in my belief that anyone who walks in forest has reason in his head enough to not get offended by one anyway. You might get weird looks from puukko-conservatives though! :D

Thanks! I'll try to find a Roselli knife in the meantime :-)

Where can you buy either of these Fox machetes?

Thanks,

GregB

Beautiful photos! That water is so clear! Yes I saw the trout, once I figured out which picture and realized there was water there. What area of the world are you in during these pics?

@A.L.: I'm shocked! :-) I figured out that Roselli knives were really appreciated in Finland! Well, I'll try another brand.

@mistwalker: we live in Italy, this area is near Alps, NE side.

Don't get discouraged by one person's opinion! :)
For me it was just a bit too roughly finished knife with high pricetag for what you get.

I debated between tge Fox Hitam Golok and the Bushcraft Parang, I went with the larger knife since I like to process wood alot, and no regrets, it holds a great edge.
