Please before you read this post...pay homage to my knifemaker status. Yes I have decided that I qualify. Changed my avatar as a symbol of my new knifeshness. Anyway............

Who has the hot deals on Norax belts. I like to buy from a small business when possible.

Mark

Tru Grit's website sucks, but they are great people. Better off to just call them.
They do have Norax belts, it just doesn't show.

hey, Mike, are you slipping? couldn't find a URL? don't have toooo many bookmarks by some chance, do we???? or is it that it's gone from a "dry" to a "wet" heat?

hehe. hope you're doing well out there, my friend.

No, it wasn't in my favorites. Must have got deleted somehow.
I tried to find it with a search engine, and it was difficult indeed.

We have "wet heat" here now. Very miserable, as we only have an evaporative cooler, and it's not effective in humidity levels over 50%. :barf:

I don't mean to do any hijacking, but how are those klingpor belts? Do they run smooth?

I waited a bit over one year and signed up. I still yet wonder that I fully qualify, and; big congrats on the membership. It did feel good to me when I signed up. UH, that reminds me. I hope they email me when its again due!

Congratulations on your new status! Yes it does feel good.

Burchtree, Klingspor makes very good abrasives. I don't care what brand you get, in the higher grits you're going to get some "bump." Do they last? As well as any IMO.

But I still opt for Norax, which I buy from Trugrit. I think they're a pretty small business and they sure are good folks. I only buy belts a couple times a year, and they recognize me when I call too. Or at least they act like they do! :D

While we are on the bandwagon, I can't say enough good things about Tru Grit. Good folks to do business with. Thanks for the brain jog, I need to order some belts!
