It just arrived in the mail today. My wife is gone with the digital camera so it will be tonight or tomorrow before I get any pics, but I can tell you that I love this knife.

The only complaint is that it came pretty dull. I am working on that part.

But it is a great knife.

Very impressed.

That's my only complaint with them, but it usually doesn't take much to finish up the edge.

I've got that very same knife. The effort necessary to get the type of edge you want is well worth the reward.

I've found it helps to flush gunk out of the pivot with thin oil, then flush out the oil with a synthetic lube.

That is one classy looking knife. I am looking forward to seeing your pics of it.

coonskinner i have the same knife in moose profile.these are a real handful & instill confidence to handle any task. horn needs protection if stored for lengths of time since bettles like to chaw on them.i also suspect silverfish may be suspect. i'm certainly going to research this aspect.i beleieve you will find edge holdin of the 1095 astounding.excellent choice

Here it is...

Nice shot!
Their carbon sharpens up with no problem at all, gets evil sharp too.
I've heard about worm attacking horn handles, but what kind of insect can this be?Only in tropical zones surely.

bettles or worms are certainly indigneous to texas & calif. i strongly suspect many states have these horn insect problems . great pic.

That's a nice one. How's it ride in your pocket?

Smooth, mighty smooth. :)

I wear Wrangler pro Rodeo jeans most every day, so it isn't a big deal.

I can feel it there, as it is a substantive knife, but I don't find it uncomfortable to carry.

I have a notion that this one is going to see a lot of pocket time.

I have been waiting for that picture. Thanks for posting it. I really like the blade choices. I am about big blade use.
