Hi all
some time ago my family found the pocketknife of my grandpa, and soon it was mine. But because it was really "out of order"
i wanted to have a replacement/copy of it.

I found this one, from "Hartkopf-Germany", sorrily no new manufactory seems to make the "jigged wood" handles, but i`m happy with what i found.

Hopefully you'll get the chance to pass this one on someday..
Nice find!

Pictures here don't have to be of customs. I like seeing the customs, but I also like seeing these kinds of knives as well. The knife you found is a nice one. So is the one that belonged to your Grandfather.

Bigbore,
Nice story,It also looks like you found a very close match in style.

hey i have one like that it has that metal badge on it and has a bowie style blade as the main and 2 smaller blades one regular swiss army style and one that is shaped like this `-. like curved down. It says "BUSHMAN 3 51/3-s" on the main blade. I found it when i was 8 in my grandpas shed. How much do you think its worth?

Interesting find Bigbore.., and thanks for sharing.., nice little knives...

Hi Bali-Flipper,
IMHO that only depends on how much it is worth for you!
Take me, i am 46, happily married plus two nice kids, have a good (IMO) job, get money every month and think i could buy nearly every knife i want at a reasonable time (if i live long enough ;) ), but i will never can "get" my grandpa`s knife again!
So how much is it worth?
Try to offer me some customs as a trade,
do you think i will trade?

Please do not be insulted, this is just my personal view to this
special question, if you only wanted to know the worth for ensurance or other reasons,
i dont wanted to blame you,
please remember i am a little bit sentimental about my Grandpa`s knife.

BigBore - Great knife. Glad you found one to match your grandpa's

(Most people would not give a first or second look to my favorite knife. So I know what you mean :)

BigBore, I bet you would find a lot of us that have a similar knife that is priceless. For me, it is an old Camillus slipjoint that was my father's. Thanks for sharing.:)
