I ordered the WWI khuk # 1-136. While is is the pattern shown in the catalog, it is marked Qeyoom Bros 1944. Also 3" of the tip is bent about 1/4". Not entirely satisfied, I may "trade up" to the Bhojpure model. Also received 10 Karda. Two are really nice and 8-9 are very usable.

The stuff on the blade is cosmoline, not rust.

A nice 1944 made Indian M43! Shame its taken a hit, wonder if a hard wood lined vice & a bit of shoulder would sort it out? eg. straighten it? It would be a good user! Historical too! Guess if its like mine its got also a solid Indian rosewood handle? I reckon its a good one myself!

That blade can be straightened. Use a wood lined vice just like spiral said.
I fixed one by putting it between the boards of my porch and applying a little pressure. Don't crank on it to hard just a few little pulls.
God Bless.
