I've been sick or I would have posted this sooner.

1st., I'd like to thank Thomas and Kershaw, and Michael from New Graham for the OCC Blur that I won in the contest here. It came at a good time and cheered me up considerably as I had just gotten out of the hospital.

The OCC blur itself comes in a box with the logo of OCC. If I understand correctly it will eventually will be the new steel, but is still the tried and proven 13C26 untill the changeover.

I've noticed that over the last year or two the quality of the grinds, fit and finish, and final sharpening just keep getting better and better. My example is perfect with no flaws that I can find.

Wether you are a OCC fan, or a blur collector like me, or just like nice knives I'd give this one some serious thought. As a user it has the big, beefy grips which fit my hands perfectly. The Steel is a joy to put an edge on, but we all know that already. The liner lock is fit and functions perfectly as does the assisted opener. Other than that it's just an OCC marked and colored thouroughbred Kershaw, which to me is saying a lot.

It fits in my collection of blurs perfectly, but will be a daily user not a safe queen. This is a working mans knife.

Once again, no pictures. I've still not replaced the camera my ex left with. For some reason when I have extra money I'd rather buy another knife than a camera. :) Go figure!

If you want to see what the Orange county chopper blur looks like, Mikes ( New Graham pharmacy) not only has a nice photo but has them in stock currently here: http://www.newgraham.com/detail.aspx?ID=44953

Thanks again Thomas, Kershaw knives, and Mike @ New Graham Joe

Hope you continue to feel even better!

The Blurs are definitely some of Kershaw's best...enjoy! :D

Ray :)
