Taking off in the morning to attend this event with a heavy heart to say a final farewell to Jim Parker who was the creator of this show. This will be the first time I made it to the winter show. The show in June seems fine to me but most of the folks that attend this show on a regular basis say the Winter show is the best. Should be a good one. I am also looking at homes in the Knoxville area because there is a good chance that I will be moving there this Spring.

We would be glad to have you.I live 30 miles west of Knoxville.Houses around here are going real cheap right now unless you are looking for one on the lake.
A small older house that is in good shape 2 doors up from me is up for sell for 25 K
One behind me for 70K IIRC.

i really like the area...the only real drawbacks are terrible traffic (esp I-40 through west hills and kingston pike) and the big "orange" (UT football :barf: )
