Having built one suit of samurai armor, I have a fond place in my heart for anyone else willing to do so. Imagine my delight then finding these crazy Japanese nuts!

A Japanese Armor

There are patterns, "instructions", the works. This is wearable armor made out of corrugated cardboard. (If you've ever worn full armor, you'll appreciate the idea of corrugated!) Pretty impressive, beautiful, beautiful work.

dave, some of those suits look like they have wings, for defend against arrows for the top brass on the field. i would guess.

That's right. Naturally, those crazy Japanese just made lace-cutting arrowheads! Couple of those in the right places and the armor could start to come apart... They had dozens of specialized arrowheads, you could make a whole study just of those.
