Backstory
---
For the last 4-5 years I've been an auto mechanic. I could get away with carrying just about any knife I wanted, including multiple knives, open or concealed carry.
As luck would have it, a week ago I lost my job and I sought for a career change. At least a temporary one.
What this means is I now work in an office setting. Dress is still casual, tennis shoes and jeans, etc. But it's in a building with many other "sheeple", and I'd assume less tolerance for my usual assortment of blades.
The requirements
---
What I've found
---
Cold Steel "Spike" series.

My only reservation with any of these blades is the handle. It looks like it's very thin and attached poorly. Maybe with glue? I don't like glue. I would probably re-wrap with paracord, effectively upping the purchase price slightly. Still, under $40.
Any recommendation as to which style "Spike" I should get would be appreciated. OR, recommend another knife that meets my qualifications.
I also found the TOPS "Scalpel" but it's out of my price range.
I like the handle on it much better than the "Spike".

The requirements
---
- I would like to carry a small fixed blade, preferably as thin and "letter opener" in appearance as possible.
- Must be less than $40.
- Must conceal fairly easily.
- I am NOT looking for a folder, I have plenty already.
