Oh no! Out of stock. Where to get a BM 705???

OK, I have been paying attention to guns instead of knives for a couple years. My interest is in the 705 mainly, specifically a 705 with the G10 and a black blade, or two.

I'm discovering they are A) discontinued and B) not is stock

Suggestions as to where to buy (or if one of the people who post pics of 20 705's want to sell a couple) I'm looking!

I got a 705s from Knifeworks about three weeks ago. NGK was all out at the time. Great knife, broke my heart to see it discontinued. If you really want one best move fast. Good luck.
 
Hi Pangris-

Does your interest in the Benchmade 705 reside primarily with plain-edge or combo-edge models? That will also be a factor in availability since the plain-edge is the more desirable of the two.

Greetings all. I have found and purchased a 705 and a 705-401. I have an offer to buy a 705BT for a reasonable price and a 705-02 that is mint for a bit of a premium but not out of the question price.

So, If I opt for the second two, I'll have four 705 models with a plain edge. I don't like serrations or combos.

I think four would be enough?

I was also forced to order a 670. I had no choice.

Everyone has been tremendously helpful.

My first knife arrives tomorrow. I've yet to actually handle a 705 - I may not like it! I think it looks like the perfect knife for me, but who knows?

I've also got my eye on a mint 625 and 710HS...

I'm really drooling over those 710s... but I'm way poor right now. Maybe when I finish this year in college I'll reward myself with any cash I have left and buy it. ^_^
 
Have you already donated plasma? Every poor college kid should. You could get your 710 in a couple, three, worst case four trips.
