Ok..Horizontal blade play due to new pivot pin?

Ever since I swapped out the pivot pin (old to new style) I've gotten SLIGHT horz play. Is it b/c I didn't use the PB washers? Thanks

Certainly sounds like the most probable cause.

Try tightening the pivot pins a little more.

what knife did you swap pins on?

ParaMilitary. I tightened it down, but it has a LOT of resistance before opening

Well, when I notice blade play on my knives, tightening usually solves it. Tighten just enough to remove blade blay. If too tight back off until you get it they way you want it.Hope it works.

Do you have the washers? If so, and there are no washers in it now, I think it would be a good idea to put them in.
