John, will you provide as many pics as you can if this beauty? Im trying to decide on one or several as gifts. A pocket sheath would be great with it too. Maybe this will spark some sales! Thanks, my friend.

I`m not sure what old EDC you are talking about?

Does this knife remind you of anything else?

Like maybe a shorter version of this? Maybe that`s why you like it so much. ;)

Ummm me too! And I would want the thumb scallops just like the phoenix. I want you to round the bottom edge of the handle more though---better for gripping.

Not sure about the sheaths, but I am thinking pocket leather like you did for my ewok (remember that sheath?).

I'd get 3 (me and the 2 sons). Christmas gifts that don't have to be done in time for Christmas. Make em scary sharp convex lasers...

These would be priced the same as the current EDC ($130.00), which is actually a deal, considering that these use a larger size material.

Hopefully you are not thinking of tulipwood for the handles, I`ve had some on backorder for over two months!

Is this the same as the hikers backup? Because I was thinking about getting one but did not see it in the current models thread. Thanks

The bottom knife in this photo is the Hiker`s Backup. This photo was in the article by Reuben Bolieu (bearthedog) in the March 2009 issue of S.W.A.T. Magazine.

Yeah that's the first place I had ever seen your knives. I was actually looking at the article last night drooling over your knives lol. He also used That knife in his bk-11 review in swat magazine January 09. Thanks for the info.
