Old Village Kami -- Pix.

I was digging thru my 10,000 pix file and happened across this pix of an old village kami. Can't remember his name or village. Big kami. He's make about two of Bura. Interesting thing. Easy to tell in person if a kami is right or left handed. The user arm will be bigger than the other. The guy was not as mean as he looks.

Notice he's got 3 or 4 almost completed khukuris laying around. No helper.

Either that or the reason he looks grumpy is that Uncle snapped his pick while he was sitting on the water closet, about to flush

That's the bellows chain alright.

No such luxury as water closet for this old Kami. He's got a charpi out back but nothing that will compare to the BirGorkha charpi. I figure the old fellow gets about one shower per month.
