A word of warning to anyone thinking about a 20" AK...Eat your oatmeal! This is one gigantic knife, dwarfing the 15" villager I bought for my son. The durn brat (he's 20) won't trade, claiming he prefers the "lighter" knife for camping.
I showed it to a shipmate yesterday as I unwrapped the box at a unit reunion. He was fascinated and may even visit the forum. Ken W, if you are lurking come forth and put in a bid on one for yourself!
My biggest problem now is this... How am I going to keep this monster (I need it!) and later on get a 15" AK or Malla or WWII for normal use (I need them!)???? My wife can spot a butt-kissing or bribe from a mile off and unfortunatly insists on paying bills and buying groceries instead of the more manly things we all know would make us happier in life.
In the meantime, it's pull-ups and wrist excercises (twisting bottle caps is excellent!) to build my arms up. As soon as the edge is right me an' Mr. Maple Tree are going to have a "come to Jesus" meeting...
