One for Me!!

I decided it was time to make one just for fun,just for myself.
1095 3/16" thick, 11" blade ,5"handle. This will have a small oval guard and maple burl handle.

Man that's cool. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project. Did you etch the flames in that bad boy?

Yea David it is etched, I wish I didnt have such a bad case of dominant hand disease. One side looks like flames and the other looks like little fuzzy somethings.Anyway it's mine so I dont care. I meant to do that Yea, Yea, I meant to do that.

This guy is truly a genuine knife maker. Note the hands that are 'inlaid' with steel powder, and the multiple knicks and scars on hands and belly. Nice blade too!

Nice Knife I like the etching.

My first knife is a real bush pig. But I love it to death.
I keep promising to do a good one for myself. Only trouble is when I make a good one I sell it. Don't weaken thats got to be a keeper.
