One more richardj Plow Blade special

This one has some flaws,but made a stout stocky little knife.7 7/8" oal 3 1/2" edge.3/16" thick John Deere used plow blade 1075 steel from richardj.Full flat grind.Box Elder scales.Followed Richards instructions for heat treat,but i tempered this a bit and he doesnt.Grinding hardened steel isnt easy,but this stuff is interesting.

the steel might be hard to work but it makes one heck of a knife when you are done if you follow my instructions. you need to try a cutting torch to heat treat one sometime and see if there is a difference.
