One of the greatest hard rock artists of all time, the Motor City Madman, Ted Nugent.

And one of the greatest spokesman of hunting. Little crazy sometimes. Crazy like a fox. Got to love Ted

I like Ted's music. One of my favorite songs by him is Fred Bear. What a great tribute song to a great man.

I saw him in concert in 2001 in Virginia and then in 2005 at our state fair. I actually met him at a book signing at the fair.

I really like his music and highly respect him. I've first heard of him as a member of The Amboy Dukes and later got fond of his solo albums as well...
Some of his songs I like the best (and whose names come to my mind right now): Loaded for Bear, Living in the Woods, Call of the Wild... And of course The Journey to the Center of the Mind. (though not written by uncle Ted, its performance from 2009 on youtube is worth checking!)

Saw him back in the 70s a number of times. I like that unlike a lot of rock stars he didn't waste his money and has a nice place.

I had the honor of hanging out with Uncle Ted for an evening in Huntington, West Virginia (my home town) back in 1995. There were about 20 of us who were invited to meet up with Ted and chat about politics, guns, knives, hunting and the outdoors. It was a great evening of fun and fellowship. The coolest part was when we left, I got lost going down a dark hallway in the Civic Center and actually bumped into Ted waiting to do a sound check. I thanked him for the evening and told him that maybe next time I could tell him a story. To my surprise, he told everyone to hold off on the check for a minute and wanted to know the story. I went on to tell him that during Desert Storm, in addition to my weapons and a ton of gear I was carrying, I had the latest issue of his magazine (he used to have an outdoor magazine) stuffed in the the cargo pocket of my BDUs. He laughed and said his magazine was the only weapon I needed....LOLOL Here is a picture of that evening.

Great stories, thanks for sharing. When I met Ted at the state fair, I gave him one of my T Shirts I had made and at that time I was doing business as Razorback Knives.

I saw him front row at Merry weather Post Pavilion (sp?), back in the early nineties. Bad Company opened for him. Great show.
