and as a side note do they have throwing tournaments in oklahoma that allow no spin throwing?

Thanks for the nice words (about me, I'm sure Bobby feels the same), but you don't really need to have heroes, just do what comes natural to you and go your own way. I don't know of any no-spin tournaments anywhere, the no-spin throwers tend to be real independent.

Haven't heard from Bobby in a while; hope all is well with him.

Regards

Thanks guys. I've been getting ready for my biggest show of the year. It is in two more weeks and then I'll be somewhat back to normal. Ralph, I finally got you handles on your three knives. I just need to polish them up a bit. I've been trying to work stuff in with my show knives. Yep, you don't need hero's, just work hard and don't give up.
I always liked this quote from Muhammad Ali.

"The will must be stronger than the skill"

If you keep practicing, the skill will come. Don't ever give up!!!!

Ok, Bobby, I'll look forward to those knives. Good luck with the show. I'll try to get you some sample copies of the new dvd in case you need them for the show.

I throw knives with a style known as russian wave it is a no spin technique, I was unaware that it would not be allowed in a knife throwing competition. That erks me!

any competitions around New York area? I have been throwing for years, and would not mind seeing how I do against others.
