Opinion on a LE 110

Anyone got the Burlwood and Mokume 110MBSLE1-B?

Been looking at this one for a year or better and really like the looks of the wood, mosaic pins, bolsters, etc., but haven't quite gotten up the nerve to drop that kind of coin. Was wondering if anyone has one and if so what your thoughts are on it? It sure does look nice in the pictures.

Well, since no one came on here to post their opinions, I'll say this. I had the chance to see and handle one at the Pasadena show that was for sale. It was discounted (for BCCI members), but it was still more than I was willing to spend on it. I can't put my finger on what it was, but it just didn't appeal to me at the price. It wasn't lack of cash, I went down prepared to spend around 1K on Bucks if I found things I wanted and ended up only spending around $150.

My advice: Spend your money on the rare and classic OLD knives.

They will go up in value instead of down.
