Opinion on this Ebay khuk I had considered

I agree it doesn't look bad in the photo, but from what I can see of the handle it looks like the usual Indian-tourist lead-head kukri.
 
I think I'll trust Uncle Bill before the Ebay sellers. I've seen a lot of tempting items but I'm not convinced of the quality. In the end I feel I might be just throwing my hard earned cash away.
 
Don't worry about missing that one, ddean. It's a cheap Indian tourist piece, and not even worth half what it sold for. I have an identical one I paid $4.99 for. You'll see "knives" like this all over the place, but they're worthless except as toys. I don't even think the edges are tempered on the ones I've seen, and they're anything but sharp. It also has absolutely nothing to do with Germany, and probably isn't 10 years old. I just hope for the buyer that the holster is what he wanted. ;)
 
I've seen some good looking stuff on ebay. I'm also fiscally conservative too and after being burned for more than I was comfortable I stay w/ Uncle Bill.
Nothing comes close.

I am NOT downing anyone who does it differently. Lots of good deals around for those who know more than me, which is everyone BTW.:o
