The newest Navigators use VG-10 instead of GIN-1. I would look for one of these if I were you. I have a G10 Navigator with GIN-1 and find it fantastic in the way it fits my hand. I've got no complaints with GIN-1 but my experience with VG-10 is that it has even better edge retention. -Alan
The Navigator is one of my favorite folders! The Almite handles are comfortable, and there is just something about the grip design that makes it work much harder than it's small size would indicate.
It's an awesome knife and part of my daily rotation. The late James Mattis gave one to my wife, and she has used it hard every day for a couple of years... it's still as solid as the day she took it out of the box.
Pick one up. You can't go wrong.
