I'm looking at picking up an older Benchmade - the Kodiak. Anyone have one or have experience with particular model? Thanks!

One of my favorite Benchmades. They should have never discontinued that one. What's not to like?

Great, Great, Great, I carried one for years before retiring it because they were getting a bit scarce. It's the closest thing to a folding Marble's Woodcraft I've found.

The blade shape works well for thrusting and slicing. The handle works well in a varity of grips(foward, reverse, choked up, etc....).

The best knife BenchMade ever retired:(.

The steel was G-2.

:).

My Kodiak was ATS34. I may still have it too, hiding in some box downstairs.

That model is one of my favorite Benchmade's.....geat blade shape! Carried one for quite awhile....awhile back;)

Just got the knife today. BM discontinued this knife - why? This is a great design. The handle is confortable and the that bowie style blade is great. I rank this one right with the Leopard and AFCK as my all time BM favs.
