Opinions On A Cord Wrapped Fehrman

This is a Fehrman 8" Hood Hunter. I wrapped the tang with OD green 550 cord. I would like to know what you folks think...be gentle...as this is my first time cord wrapping

LOL...man I got one hell of a water blister on my index finger, from keeping the tension on that cord so tight.

Great job. That knife looks like on heck of a fighting bowie. I bet it is easier to hold onto with the wrap than the micarta as well. Good job.

Thats the first thing that came to my mind as well...was fighting bowie, but it also has been said that it is one heck of a camp knife. It looks as if it wears both hats very well, it comes in a 10" as well, but based on the blades width/profile...I felt that the 8" would be a little more versatile, and 8 inches isnt exactly short.
