Orange handle shipments

Just so you guys have a heads up, Derrick @ Knives Ship Free and Knife Works in Louisiana had initial shipments shipped to them via UPS yesterday. They were the first pre-orders we had on the RC-3 and RC-4 OD / Orange models so they got their knives first. Other dealer orders will be shipping out the end of this week and the first part of next week.

Now, if you call Derrick (Knives Ship Free) or Roger (Knife Works) then they probably don't know they have these orders coming to them since I haven't notified them yet. Anyway, both of these dealers should have their order by mid-week next week and be able to ship knives out to customers.

If you haven't got a pre-order in with them then do it now since these initial orders will go very fast. Orange and OD is going to be hot!

I live less than 200mi from knifeworks and have NEVER received an order from them in more than 48 hrs from time of order entry. Absolutely excellent service. I've been holding out for that RC-4 in orange/OD. If I play my cards right, I should be holding that beaut by no later than next Friday.

I know the Orange/Green combo just came out (and it looks great!).

Are there plans for any other blade color combinations still using the orange G10?
Desert coated blade? Maybe a Black coated blade in time for Halloween? ;-)

At this time, no, since we don't want to force the dealers into buying more SKUs just to compete. In the future when sales slow down on the current models then we will probably offer some different colors combos that folks want.

There is always spray paint. I think I am going to spray paint some handles orange on a few Tramontina machetes.
