Orange RC-3...no liners?

I just got a new Orange/OD RC3 in the mail a few days ago. I was reading a thread about the purpose of liners on the RAT knives and took a look at my knife. No liners!!! My gray handled RC-4 has em but this is my only RC-3 so I can't compare. Anyone know why there are no liners on the Orange version. Is it because there is no worry of fraying due to (what I assume is) a different scale material? Is it G-10? Thanks!
 
I have the tan version (rc-3 and 4)and was a little upset that neither came with liners as well. too bad, I really like the way they look:(
 
I have a tan RC-3 and was pleasantly surprised to find the absence of liners. Can't stand them myself.
 
I don't mind either way really. I think they look cool on the black versions. But I don't miss them on the orange. I'm hoping to get a tan RC-6 if they are ever available.
