Chris I can tell you put a lot of time working the scales and inserts to set the tone on each and every knife. Each knife seems to be brought to life by the choice you make in what material to match with that knife. Keep up the awesome work. Can't wait to see what you decide for my WEDC a little selfish thought. No rush.....

Thanks Henry, I actually have a couple new woods I want to try out on your next one. I like trying out new stuff to see how they finish up.

Wow, I really like the way that ironwood looks on there! Excellent work on this one.

Thanks guys, I hate working with Ironwood but it really finishes out nicely.

I really like the way this one turned out. I wasn't sure if the red liners would look right, but I wanted it to be a bit different, so I went with it and I'm glad that I did. I think the red looks pretty darn good. I'm really a fan of the ironwood. I had been looking up a bunch of pictures of knives with ironwood scales and it can really look a lot different from piece to piece, which kinda makes it pretty cool. I can't wait to find something to put this to use on!! Hopefully I can try it out on a deer or two too.

That's a fine lookin' blade Chris! I'm a ironwood fan as well but I've been trying to expand my artistic side recently and have opened up to the thought that other tree species may make good knife handles! It's taken a lot of counciling (read - knife buying) but I'm workin' through it

I didn't realize that the Hunters were such big knives! (either that or you have small hands..;) )

MMMMMM....ironwood. I prefer liners that stand out from the wood, but that looks delicious.

I'm sitting here with this knife in front of me and I have to say it looks as great at it does in the pictures that Chris posted. I really like this ironwood For some reason the pictures make it looks like its pretty big, but really its a nice size for hunting with the measurement from the scales to the tip being right at 4.5". The handle is pretty comfortable and I can get a nice grip on it, so it isn't going anywhere. When gripped in a standard grip you get a negative blade angle, which will be great for skinning and field dressing along with plenty of other tasks. I was wondering how the universal sheath would be and am happy to say that its great. You can set it up for standard carry and as a dangler for left or right carry. It can be carried scout style for either a lefty or a righty too and easily fits my 1.5" wide x .25" thick belt. The firesteel loop is also moveable. Did I mention that this thing is SHARP!!! Chris puts a great edge on his knives and this one will easily pop hairs right off my arm.

THANKS AGAIN CHRIS!!!

Thanks Matthew, I hope it works out well for you.
