Here is one that is almost done. I still have some cleanup work, stamp, and a couple more coats of oil. We are expecting bad weather the next couple of days so I at least wanted to show Henry his knife. I love the handle on this thing. Henry said surprise him on the handle so I thought a Crotch Feathered Walnut with some new Ivory liners would look killer. Well, you can't really tell in the pics but its awesome! Its almost 3d like Ironwood which is new to me with Walnut. Hopefully it will be sunny soon so I can take pics after its complete.

Yea, yea, yea, yea, yeah, Yeahhh. Great combo Chris; turned out superb...the walnut crotch is super killer and the ivory is a awesome contrast. HJD you got a sweet looking kephart brother, congrats!

:thumbup:Chris you've outdone yourself. It is truely awesome!!!

That looks fantastic. Love that crotched feathered walnut!
Well look here! Hey Brett, haven't seen you around much. Hope all is well.

Wait until I get it cleaned up and waxed and get some good pics! I have already called my wood guy to see if he has anymore.

I almost wish I had put a colored pinstripe on there.

Never thought I'd like white in a knife handle, but that's a nice contrast with the walnut crotch.
Grats HJD,that's a beautiful Kepie.

Hey back at ya, Chris! All is well, been working some really random/crazy hours at a new job. Plan to be around more though and I hope you can get more of that crotched feathered walnut. One of your kepharts is at the top of my "to buy" list and feathered walnut is now in the top slot for handle material. Can't wait to see some more pics!

Damn those liners look good on that knife. I am thinking about that on some elm. Would look awesome!!!
