Ordered my 1st Esee & got some good newz too

Hello to all. I've been lurking in the background making a simple post here & there. I find myself primarily using the search button if I come across something I don't understand. That being said I just ordered my 1st Esee knife. I'm going to be like a child waiting for a new toy in the mail, just like when I ordered my Khukuri's. I know I will be ordering the comprehensive survival kit that comes with the Esee-6 later this wk (I plan on getting the molle back & pouch as well). In an earlier post somewhere in this forum I said, "hopefully I can order 2 in 1 week"
I will be able to make it happen

I decided to go with the Hest for 2 reasons:
# 1 It was discontinued so in my mind its sort of a collectors item.
# 2 Where I live I wont have any problems using it for edc because of its size.

My lady asked me "What do you want for valentines day?"
For kicks below i'll type our conversation to ya:
Me "Baby I want an Esee-5"
Her "Whats that?"
Me "Google it. An Esee-5 by Rat cutlery."
Her "I just did & all I see is knives"
Me "Yup, I know, thats exactly what I want"
Her "Ok"
Me " *silence & a big smile :D"

Heh, I got beat out twice on E-Bay for a HEST, so I found a knife shop with one in stock and bought it. Saved $10. And the Izula II beckoned, so I ordered it too. I'm hooked.
 
They have em' on ebay still. Getting hooked is the easy part. I really appreciate companies that pay attention to their consumers, instead of turning their noses up at us. This company has a very reputation in my eyes & a whole community that stands by their product. I was hooked before my 1st purchase
 
Hahaha I read this last night and this morning my girlfriend walks up and says, " what do you want for valentines day?" I instantly thought of this post and said, " an esee five!" hahaha guess valentines day ain't all girlie! Lol
 
Nice it was fresh in your mind hopefully more people will read this & get the idea to have their lady get em' an esee

It can be a tradition! haha.

I've got one going with my sisters, one of them always gets me a knife for Christmas, and two years ago my girlfriend got me a tom brown tracker for christmas, It was pretty sweet deal, (same girl getting me the esee for Vday)
