OTFs are kind of fun, but not too practical or hard use, plus they aren't legal in many states.

My Department allows for Autos, but no fixed blades......doesn't make much sense to me but gives me an excuse to buy a Severtech......if I can ever find one at the right time.

I have a benchmade Infidel, first production, and a benchmade Infidel 3300-81 (gold class)

I like them but I don't feel really safe with them, I feel like they are going to break or something.

Fun toys, seem kinda fragile as stated. Not sure about the long term reliability for pocket carry, either. If you carry anything in your pocket, you know lint is a problem. I would think eventually, enough lint would work its way inside to cause firing problems. But, I don't know this for sure. I know I have to clean the lint out of my .38 just about every week.

A blast of compressed air does the cleaning. And just a light lube is all that is required. For SD only, these knives are up my ally.

I thought the Wave's were pretty quick out of the pocket, and chisel too?

Here in Oregon it is legal to carry my Severtech so I do.

When Horton goes Automatic I would like to have one, I am no easy sell for a pocketknife, I have high expectations.

I think The Horton will do just fine, but it still needs to be proven.

I like Out the sides for common use autos.

I want my main pocketknife to be strong, I say main, because you know I carry more than one at a time.
