Overconditioning?

I have a dark coffee brown, Saddleback messenger. I use Lexol to condition it, partly because I cannot obtain Chamberlain's here in China. I tend to get a bit obsessive about my bag, so I am worried about over-conditioning it. What are the risks? I conditioned it twice, gave it a two-over, now my OCD is telling me to do it a third time, about a week later. Should I?

It's my understanding that you don't want to condition more than once every six months.

I used the Chamberlains on all my products a few months ago and they are looking great. I have used Lexol on my leather seats and have found that too much conditioner leaves a slick coating which I dont care for. I would not apply too much conditioner as the leather does need to breathe...in addition, I believe the recommendation is once every six months regardless if it is Chamberlains or Lexol. Let us know how you make out! Good luck!
