I have a Pacific Cutlery Fer de Lance designed by David Steel. It has black micarta handles a double edge blade with integral guards. It measures 11 3/4" overall.

Anybody remember what steel these were made from?
What they originaly sold for?

I'm not sure about the steel,,I think it may have been 440c. I've seen this knife at gun shows for $75 to $100. I believe original retail was $100 to $150. Do you want to sell this knife? I have been looking for one. I missed a chance at one a few years back.

It was AUS-8, a decent Japanese steel made in Seki, Japan. I've got both variations of the Timba model that were designed by Jody Sampson and are circa the same year as your knife.

Ever notice no other candy tastes quite like Pez? Oh yeah, and the BM Axis rules.

I stand corrected. I thought earlier versions were made in the states. The question remains, do you want to sell?

I also have a small collection of old PC knives and would like to add your Fer-de-Lance. Do you want to sell?

One of my favorite fixed blades is the PC Jody Samspson boot knife with wee-hawk blade.

Thanks for the info guys. I may sell it in the future. For now I think I will keep it for a while. You will be the first to know.
