I ordered myself a Pacific Salt PE earlier today!! With all the GREAT reviews here, and on the Spyderco Forums, I just HAD to get one!! I am really excited about this knife. I will be taking it to the beach this summer. At least if I forget to take it off me when I go in the water, I won't have to worry!! It looks like an awesome, awesome knife!! Thanks to all who helped me decide to buy this knife! :D :D :D
 
I take this thing in the waterway and river and ocean as i live at the beach, and have not rinsed it once since I used it last. Not that I don't care about it, I just forgot. I pulled it out and sure enough, no rust. Then I rinsed it off just out of compassion. Mine is SE and super sharp. I was used to opening and closing my endura with one hand and this knife is so similar, but I can't seem to keep from nicking my fingers everytime I touch this thing. I have only touched it up once on the sharpmaker and that was just becaused I wanted to try a serrated blade on it. Not because it was dull. This is my favorite knife. Maybe one day she'll let me hold her without biting me.:p
