PARAGON OR EVENHEAT

Geno,
I use the Evenheat also, and don't have any complaints.

I also use the Even Heat. I like it very much. I did however have a bit of trouble figureing out the rampmaster controler. It is for ceramics and pottery. Someone needs to rewrite the manual for us knife-makers. Bruce B

I have a Paragon KM-24D and love it. Done a bunch of work with it and only replaced the coils once so far. Good furnace!

Using Paragons for 30 years, primarily for metal casting work and some heat treat. I think they are built like tanks. Now using a HT-14D, its the best yet. Try shopping around for pricing!

Geno,

There is a Paragon plant in Mesquite, TX. real close to the Spirit of Steel Show location. I went there many years back and they walked me around their factory. They explained everything and were real helpful. I could not buy anything and told them that but I was looking to learn something about heat treating as I did not know anyone back then in the knife community. They gave me sheets of instruction on all different kinds of steel and how to heat treat. Bottom line they were real nice people and are (were) more than willing to help.

Here is their link.
