The MOLLE back is a flat Cordura Nylon piece that fits on the molded sheath and coverts it to MOLLE carry, as well as a few other carry options. Take a look here: http://www.ratcutlery.com/optional.htm and you will see a MOLLE back plate for the RC-3 and RC-4 knives.
