Can anybody tell me how to take apart one of these (Paul Protector)? I have all the torx bits to remove stop pin and frame screws but wanted to check in advance what to do with the axial lock wich is of course also the pivot.

I realise that it will void my warrant and am willing to accept that.

TIA

Went and checked the patent drawing - the ring on the push button side unscrews.

That is it. The one Gerber I took apart was rather stubborn. Some old electronic repairmen may have a special tool for this purpose, since some older eletronic devices had similar rings.
