I found this at one of the pawn shops I frequent. It was priced at $21.99. I walked out the door with it for $20. I have been wanting one of these for a long time. It is in really good shape. You can’t tell from the picture but the edge was gone. With some TLC I am sure I can bring it back. It has some minor scratches on the blade but overall it is in great shape. This is the kind of pawn shop find I live for.

Stainless welcome. Does you 560 have a 110 blade or 560 blade in it? Looks in good shape. DM

Nice find, good price !!!

Haha, a shop nearby my hometown in the Netherlands has two 560's, a yellowish chrystal and a grey one. The are sold (new) for €113,- = $ 163,- a piece. Haha.

Math.

20 bucks....great find-send it back to Buck and for $6.95, the will polish it back up and put the factory edge back on it.

Nice find,I got a Black one recently in a bundle package for a good price. I love mine, it looks like you got a great knife at a great price.

The edge is coming along nicely. It was definitely used and abused. It really rides well in the pocket. I plan on getting a lot of mileage on the steel it has as a user but I will be sending it in for a blade upgrade someday. I put a flick-it on the blade so it is now a one handed opener.

Buck does not do blade upgrades any longer. Perhaps some guys here will sell you a blade of up grade steel and Leroy Remer can install it for you. I can see now your blade is a 560 of 420 steel. DM

I am bummed to hear that Buck no longer does upgrades. This thing would have really rocked with a S30V blade. I was able to get a custom 110 in BG-42 which I cherish. I have been on the prowl for a 560 and a 111 for a couple of years. I always get out bidded on ebay. Now I just need a 111 and my collection will be complete. Well I will still buy knives as long as knive are sold, who am I kidding.

The quick fix is to buy a knife with a premium blade, knock the blade out of it, and move the blade to the Titanium handle. While you have the thing apart, install a pocket clip. Now you have a modern knife with modern materials which will hold an edge and take a lot of abuse.

I have been using and carrying this knife. It is surprisingly light. It has been riding in my FR pant's pocket w/o a problem. I own a sebenza and a CRKT s-2 that are titanium handled knives. Let me tell you that they both feel like bricks compared to the 560. I can comfortably pocket carry this knife. It feels good in the hand. I have been wanting a 560 for a while and the knife has lived up to my expectations. This baby is officially in my edc rotation.
