@David Mary the fighter showed up today and it is very cool. If this is one of your first efforts I imagine later projects must be absolutely superb! I would do pictures but I’m in bed sick and will wait to get some action shots. For now I just keep holding it laying in bed. My wife thinks the fever has made me lose my mind and she is fearing for her safety.

@Deinos I am glad you finally have the Drover. I hope you will put it to better use than I could.

Thank you for the exceedingly kind words!

    Well then let's hope she's wrong! :D

I If I recall correctly, I gave it a worksharp edge, to about 15 dps, and then microbeveled to 20 dps on the Sharpmaker. I don't know how you are at sharpening, but I'd be very interested to hear if you can get an edge on there that will shave hairs, and if so, how you end up doing it.

    Enjoy it!

I sold my KME and went back to my Sharpmaker because I am not an expert sharpener and I generally don’t use my knives hard enough to need much more than a Sharpmaker. The fighter cuts paper real nice already. Hopefully tomorrow I can slay some onions or something to start putting it to use.

    @JupiterPaladin
I have claimed the sweet Bianchi Model 100 holster, and as promised I have a sweet offering.
A Kershaw Natrix Xl 70080LBLk, new in the box. I may have carried it once.
    A KA-Bar BK23, new without the box.
1 20 Round box of Western Super X 7 MM Remington Mag 150 gr Power-Pt-SP- These are a few years old but were stored in ideal conditions.
1 10 Round Box Nobel 12 Gauge MiniBuck 2.25" Buckshot 6 Pellet (These may not feed properly in all pump or auto shotguns, made for law enforcement and close quarters self defence)
A Sedonalite rock from Sedona, Arizona. Very unusual formation, made of the famous red soil, sometimes found inside large hollow red rocks These are only found in Sedona and possibly (unconfirmed) a small deposit in Australia
A small low power UV flashlight perfect for finding scorpions
Some assorted bandages including butterfly bandages
    A small keychain firestarter kit.
Plus anything else I can fit in a flat rate padded envelope

You can also claim this and ask for the ammo to be left out

As an outsider looking in I am surprised that kellam puuko has hung around so long.
I had a kellam wolverine that I loved, but my son loved it more. Easy to sharpen, took a keen edge, and the handle was meant to be gripped.
Fun thread, still wrapping my mind about it.

I agree, the kellam puukko is really nice, different than the wolverine a little if you need another one ;). I really liked the knife before sending it along in the PIF thread a while back, but I have a custom from Jelio now with a leather handle.
