Perrin Fixed Blade.

You can find em on Ebay, the black bladed ones at least. They generally go for around $50.

I just picked one up and it is oh so sweet.

Well just checked E-Bay and the only fixed blades I saw were 2 Lum Tantos and a serial numbered Kumo.
 
Well, keep checking. I snagged a Perrin on eBay with a custom Kydex rig and TekLok for just under $50 about three months ago. Gotta keep yer eyes open. ;)
 
The Perrin is indeed worth the time and trouble spent searching. It's unfortunate that Mr. Glesser felt that it had to be discontinued, but business is business. And we all want Spyderco to prosper as a business indefinitely, I'm sure.

One could also check with Laci Szabo and see if a custom Perrin could be contracted through him.
