16.5 " and 1.75 pounds done as only Bura does it. Fit, finish and hardness is above HI specs so Bura got his bonus on this effort. But, I find two things that keep this knife from falling into the perfect category. Bura has filled a small area of the horn slab on the right side with his homemade epoxy. If you look closely I think you can see the filled area just below the top pin -- it's the shape of Bura's mark, about 1/8"x1/2". Cosmetic only. And, on the left side there's a half a square inch of rust right at the tip that needs to be removed -- ten minutes with sandpaper.

Good heavy karda and chakma. Same old scabbard by village sarki in new leather.

The rust and handle fill saves you $50. Take this one home for $95 and it's a bargain.

Call or email.

They are not doing a lot of tooling. The new leather is thicker and softer and does not take to the tooling well.

This is the first HI Khukuri that I bought. What a strong tool. It would make a great first Khuk for somebody. I don't know why they aren't recommended more often. I love 'em.

GTF (France). I told you it was waiting for a night shifter. Didn't know it wanted to go to France, tho.
